I have been a proud member of Local 326 since 1999—a 26-year journey marked by dedication and service. For five of
those years, I served as a delegate, working across Connecticut and Massachusetts. Today, I’m honored to teach the next
generation of apprentices through on-the-job training, just as I was taught by the journeymen before me.
Over the past 25 years, I’ve always believed in the importance of investing in the next generation. Each year, I dedicate
time to SkillsUSA, sharing my story—how I got started, and how the union helped shape my path. Becoming a teacher,
steward, leader, and foreman—but most importantly, a mentor—has been one of the greatest accomplishments of my
career.
When others doubt themselves, I point to the many buildings I’ve helped construct—structures that stand as a testament
to hard work and a brighter future.
Behind the scenes, I’ve contributed in many ways throughout these 25 years:
- Actively Participated in the 2022 strike for better wages
- Attended government voting rallies
- Supported Yale workers
- Joined picketing at Lowe’s, Utopia, and Connecticut Studios
- Engaged with UBC Locals 300 and 212
- Participated in delegate training and “train-the-trainer” programs
- Served on the political action committee
- Volunteered at the Connecticut Trolley Museum in East Windsor
My journey is one of mentorship, advocacy, and lifelong commitment to the union and our shared future.
